- Yeah I have had weird stuff happening like that. I just rage for a second then move on.
Anyway I thought it was something to do with me pressing one of those side buttons on my pen, but I have disabled them all now and it still does it.
Zbrush is full of small annoying things like that since the 3.5 update.
- i think it's a shortcut that can be disabled.. i think. let me go dig for actual facts as I need to turn this off too!
- I have been getting this and thought it was down the sensitivity of the tablet being to high or the side buttons on the pen.
I reduced both and it still does it...for a while there i though it was just me ^^ - This function is responsible for my high blood pressure, so you're not alone.
- I get this too, I think it's related to alt+lmb on the canvas to frame your current tool, but happens when using alt+lmb to swap between zadd and zsub as well. Anybody that can shed light on this will be worshiped eternally.
- Wow... Well I guess Im glad I spoke up. I think your on to something Jaco. It doesn't seem to happen as much with a larger canvas since I can work closer to the middle versus the edge.
- i cant find the link, im sure i read something about turning this off, maybe it was a dream?! I shall keep trying!
- My model keeps being resized to fit the canvas when I'm only clicking on the canvas to rotate it
Your system is unusually sensitive. Compensate by reducing the click timer in the Preferences>Interface menu. You can also set this slider to 0 to disable the feature entirely. Once satisfied with your settings, save your configuration.

- Thanks tacit, that's the one!
BeatKitano that's a different problem I think, no idol for you - awesome! thanks for the links. works like a charm.
There I was searching in vain for 'disable frame tool' and variations thereof, and it was actually auto select subtool.
Silly old me. Thanks for the info folks, I can stop tutting under my breath now every time I zoom.
